A fast-growing telecommunications company based in Downtown Los Angeles, focused on delivering innovative network solutions and exceptional service to clients across the region, is expanding their operations. Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to help shape financial processes and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions
Monitor revenue recognition and contract accounting in line with ASC 606
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and schedules
Review and improve accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
4+ years of relevant accounting experience; telecommunications or technology industry experience is a plus
Strong understanding of US GAAP, including revenue recognition standards
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks Enterprise)
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
