Job Description

A fast-growing telecommunications company based in Downtown Los Angeles, focused on delivering innovative network solutions and exceptional service to clients across the region, is expanding their operations. Seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team. This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to help shape financial processes and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions

  • Monitor revenue recognition and contract accounting in line with ASC 606

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and schedules

  • Review and improve accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)

  • 4+ years of relevant accounting experience; telecommunications or technology industry experience is a plus

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, including revenue recognition standards

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or QuickBooks Enterprise)

  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work setting
